From "Pioneer Clubs Program" to "AWANA" ...
In September 2007 the "Pioneer Clubs Program" which had been offered at
Grace Community Church was replaced by the "AWANA"
(Approved
Workmen Are Not Ashamed) Children's Program.
The groups offered
are:
"Cubbies"
Ages 3 &
4
(must be 3 by September 1st and
begun
toilet training)
"Sparks"
Senior Kindergarden, Grades1 &
2
"T & T - (Truth & Training) "
Grades 3, 4, 5 & 6 (Boys & Girls)
We offer this new &
improved children's program each Thursday evening at 6:30 p.m. and hope
you'll join us as we share the greatest story ever told with our next
generation!
Cost is $25.00/child which covers the cost of
books and a uniform. The uniform for Cubbies and Sparks is a
vest, either red or blue, on which they will display their
achievements. The uniform for the 'T & T' Boys & Girls
is a t-shirt on which they too will display their achievements.
The 'JYG' (Junior Youth Group)
is for pre-teens in grades 7
& 8. Our goal is to continue to reach out to the youth
of our community by instilling God's Word in their hearts. By
encouraging your spiritual needs in an often difficult world, we hope
to witness as God transform you into life-long disciples of Christ.
Junior Youth Boys & Girls meets every Thursday evening from 6:30 - 8:00 pm. The cost is $20.00 per student.
